The local history collection is focused on the City of Casey and the Shire of Cardinia. Books for loan include titles on the Berwick township area, the wider region of Casey-Cardinia, surrounding areas with links to the local region, and books by or about people with local links.
Part of the collection is Not for loan. These books are for reading in the library only. There are copies for loan for most titles.
Other items of local history held include newspaper articles, maps and photographs. Many of these items are being digitised for access on the library’s public computers.
