Berwick Mechanics Institute and Free Library (BMI) is an independent library located at 15 High Street, Berwick, Victoria. We provide a full library service with a lending collection of over 20,000 books, magazines and audio-visual material for children and adults.
The BMI is an incorporated association governed by a Committee of Management. The building is owned by the City of Casey which provides an annual grant for recurrent expenses. Operation of the library is managed by 3 library managers, with 30+ community volunteers.
